About Us

The Vancouver Postcard Club was formed on November 11, 1980 and has met continuously since that time. The Club is a non-profit organization whose members are engaged in postcard collecting (“deltiology”) as a hobby. There are currently around 100 members, mainly located in British Columbia but also residing in the rest of Canada, the United States and Japan.

The Club is now meeting in person again at the Roundhouse Community Centre in Vancouver, 1:30-3:00 first Sunday of the month.  For details of  upcoming meetings and events, see the Announcements page.

Guests and Dealers are always welcome at our meetings. Postcards will also be available for sale at the meeting. The Annual General Meeting is held during the December regular meeting. If you are looking for opportunities to find out about postcard collecting or want to buy or sell postcards come along to the monthly meeting. We welcome new members – an Application Form can be downloaded from this website under How to Join.

The membership dues are currently $20.00 per calendar year. Each member receives a digital colour copy of Postview, the Club’s quarterly newsletter. You will find a copy of the current issue and back copies under Newsletters on this site.

If you are looking for a good home for postcards you have acquired, consider donating them to THE VANCOUVER POSTCARD CLUB. Call M. Diane Rogers at 250 859 3340 for further information. We are also pleased to advise on selling your collection and are happy to put you in touch with postcard dealers for a valuation.
