The Vancouver Postcard meets on the first Sunday of each month (usually) at the Roundhouse Community Centre in Vancouver’s Yaletown. Meetings (usually) run from 1:00PM to 3:00PM with our monthly presentation starting at 2:00PM.
The Roundhouse is at 181 Roundhouse Mews, a short two-minute walk from the Yaletown Skytrain Station. These meetings are open to all who have an interest in postcards or history.
2026
August 2: No meeting owing to activities around the Roundhouse. Instead, the club will meet the following Sunday, August 9.
August 9: Multi-Media Room. 1:15PM to 3:15AM. Presentation – starts at 2:15AM – Derren Carman’s topic will be the de Havilland Comet Airliner.
September 6: The VPC will not be meeting at the Roundhouse Community Centre. Instead the VPC will be hosting a Paper, Photograph, & Postcard Extravaganza at the Nikkei Centre on September 12.
September 12 (Saturday): Paper, Photograph, & Postcard Extravaganza 9:30AM – 3:30PM Nikkei Centre at 6688 Southoaks Cres., Bby, BC. The Extravaganza takes place in the Lobby.
Note: The Archivists for Vancouver’s John Oliver High School and King George High School (KGHS) will be at the show. Both are interested in preserving the history of their respective school. The KGHS archivist is also interested in the history of the West End’s elementary schools. If you were a student at either high school, or at any West End elementary school, please bring along your yearbooks, photos, and any school or student memorabilia to donate or to discuss.
$3 entry also gets you into the Coins, Stamps & Collectibles Show happening in the Main Hall the same day.
