Vancouver's CPR Station

Vancouver’s Chateau style CPR Station, built in 1899, and only lasted until 1914, when it was replaced with the current, larger scale structure.

Stereoscopy (aka stereoscopics) was cutting edge technology at the turn of the last century, and promoters and marketers of such wares were always seeking new locations to highlight with the product. Vancouver, with all it’s scenic beauty, was a natural destination. Join us for an in depth look at what is sure to be a very dimensional subject!

Vancouver Postcard Club meeting time and location: Sunday, May 8, 2016 starting at 11:30 am with postcard trading. Hastings Community Centre, downstairs board room, 3096 E. Hastings, Vancouver. The event wraps up by 2pm.
