Lisa Anne Smith, author of 3 books on early Vancouver, will be our speaker at the next Vancouver Postcard Club meeting, 9th September, Sunday, 2018. Doors open at 11:30 am for trading, with the presentation beginning shortly after noon, and the meeting wrapping up by 2 pm. This will be our first meeting after the summer break.

And her newest book is Emily Patterson: The Heroic Life of a Milltown Nurse.

Lisa is an education docent at the Museum of Vancouver and a curator for the Old Hastings Mill Store Museum, Vancouver’s oldest building.  She will be bringing books for sale.

Anyone interested in postcards and our local history is welcome to attend.

Location: Hastings Community Centre, 3096 E. Hastings St., Board Room, Vancouver, BC.
