From 1908, prolific photographer Harry Priest (1881-1955) chronicled events, places, people and the history of the city of Merritt and British Columbia’s Nicola Valley region. Vancouver Postcard Club member Jolene Castillou Cumming will explore four decades of the life of Priest in a richly illustrated talk, featuring numerous examples of his work, including his Real Photo postcards and other biographical research material.  Jolene first became interested in Harry Priest’s postcards in the 1980’s when she discovered her grandfather, Coldwater Valley born Judge Henry Castillou, had a collection of them.
