Bruce Macdonald, author of Vancouver: A Visual History, is researching old hotels in Vancouver and is looking for images of the old Hotel Canada, now the Marble Arch Hotel, that was completed in 1913, at 518 Richards Street in Vancouver. If you have any old post card images of the Hotel Canada please contact Bruce at b1m1@me.com. Bruce is interested in the period up to the 1950s, when it was the Marble Arch. Bruce is also interested in old images of the Hotel Irving, which became the the Broadway Hotel in the 1920s, at 101 East Hastings. 
My Great Uncle Percy Chapman lived, worked and died here. He was a bartender at Hotel Canada. I am also looking for images. I found one on the internet of the interior.- Gregory Chapman
